Authorization and available methods
We begin handling an order after a successful payment authorization. The current Shopify checkout screen displays the credit and debit card choices that can actually be used.
A payment service may approve, examine, reject, or seek more verification for a transaction. Incorrect billing data or an incomplete, high-risk, or unverified payment can cause delay or cancellation.
Card information, disputes, and refunds
Complete bank-card numbers are not retained on this website. The card issuer usually controls declines, failures, holds, disputes, and currency conversion, while an approved refund is generally returned through the original method.
